Discussion on ZHANG Jing-yue’s theory of stomach qi

中医胃气学说是中土五行学说在中医学中的具体运用,首见于《黄帝内经》,经张仲景、李东垣、薛己等名医大家不断完善发展,由张景岳于《景岳全书》中集成总结。胃气学说强调脾胃的生理功能及脾胃功能在人体养生防病、治疗预后等方面的重要作用,向来被历代医家所重视。文章立足于《景岳全书》关于胃气学说的论述,结合古典文献及临床运用,从胃气学说的哲学基础、生理阐释、临床运用3个方面系统论述胃气学说,以此为中医临床实践提供理论基础。

The theory of stomach qi in traditional Chinese medicine is the concrete application of the doctrine of the five elements of middle-earth.It was first seen in the Huangdi Neijing,and was constantly perfected and developed by famous doctors such as ZHANG Zhong-jing,LI Dong-yuan,XUE Ji.Finally,it is integrated and summarized by ZHANG Jing-yue in Jingyue Quanshu.The theory of stomach qi emphasizes the important role of spleen and stomach in physiological function,health preservation,disease prevention,treatment and prognosis,etc.,and has been recognized and valued by medical experts in all dynasties.Based on the discussion of the theory of stomach qi in Jingyue Quanshu,combined with the classical literature,and clinical application,this paper systematically discusses the theory of stomach qi from three aspects:the philosophical basis,the physiological explanation,and the clinical application.This provides the theoretical basis for the clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine.
