Pathogenesis Analysis of Heart Fire and Kidney Water in Traditional Chines Medicine

明·周之干《慎斋遗书·阴阳脏腑》载:“心肾相交,全凭升降。而心气之降,由于肾气之升,肾气之升,又因心气之降。”根据心火降、肾水升是阴阳平衡的前提,那么心肾上下直线相交还是弧形相交?心气之降的背后是否紧跟着肾气之升?心肾相交是交替不连续进行的吗?本文通过查阅医籍文献来分析联系心肾关系的内在属性、物质基础以及相交的场所,旨在根据“天人合一”、“整体观念”的中医思维,阐释心肾水火关系的生理病理机制。

As documented in"Yin and Yang of Zang-fu organs"in The Medical Book ofShenzhai by ZHOU Zhi-gan,a medical specialist in Ming Dynasty,"intercourse between heart and kidney is determined by ascending and descending.The descending of heart qi is caused by the ascending of kidney qi,while the ascending of kidney is due to the descending of heart qi".Given that the descending of heart fire and the ascending of kidney water is the premise of Yin-yang balance,whether the intercourse between heart and kidney is line intersection or arc intersection?Is the descending of heart qi followed by the ascending of kidney qi?Is the intercourse between heart and kidney alternately discontinuous?This paper analyzes the intrinsic attribute,material basis and the place of intersection of the relationship between heart and kidney by referring to medical literature.We aim to elucidate the physiological and pathological mechanisms of the relationship between heart fire and kidney water on the basis of the Traditional Chinese Medicine thinking that"man is an integral part of nature"and"viewing the situation as a whole".
