Historical Experience of the Communist Party of China’s United Front Work&Its Enlightenment to the New Era

百年来党领导中国人民取得革命胜利和社会建设成就的过程,就是马克思主义中国化不断取得新成果的过程,就是党领导全国各族人民不断巩固和发展最广泛的统一战线的过程,就是最大限度凝聚起共同奋斗的力量不断解决社会发展中的矛盾问题并推进中华民族伟大复兴的过程。着眼百年中国社会主要矛盾的具体变化,从中国共产党广泛团结同盟者的视角,分析了党的统一战线的缘起和发展;从党统一战线的实践探索和理论创新角度,总结中国共产党百年统一战线的宝贵经验;立足新时代,提出做好统一战线工作三个方面的思考,即坚持大团结、大联合的统战工作本质要求,坚持一致性与多样性关系的统一战线本质属性,坚持凝聚最大正能量的政治性功能。

The process in which the Communist Party of China(CPC)led the Chinese people to victory in the Chinese revolution era and onward achievements in the socialist construction period over the past century has been a process in which the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context has made new achievements,as well as a process in which the CPC has led the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in consolidating and developing the broadest possible united front.It is a process in which the strength of common struggle is pooled to the greatest extent to continuously solve the problems of social development and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In light of the specific changes of the main social contradictions in China over the past 100 years,the present paper probes into the origin and development of the CPC’s united front work from the perspective of the CPC’s effort to strengthen the unity and solidarity of all progressive forces and allies.Based on the CPC’s practical experiences and theoretical innovations in terms of the united front work,the paper attempts a summary of the precious experiences and achievements of the CPC to consolidate and develop the broadest possible patriotic united front over the past 100 years.Finally,the paper raises proposals regarding further improvement in the united front work of the CPC against the backdrop and needs of the New Era,which include adhering to the essential requirements of the united front work for greater unity and greater collaboration,adhering to the essential attributes of the united front work marked by harmonizing the relationship between conformity and diversity,and adhering to the political function of the united front work in pooling together the greatest positive energy.
