Comparison and interpretation of old and new national standards for GB/T 22864 Towels

毛巾作为一种具有洗擦、保暖、装饰等功能的家用纺织品,应用场景广泛,与日常生活息息相关。中国于2020年4月28日发布新版GB/T 22864-2020《毛巾》,做出较多调整。对GB/T 22864《毛巾》2020版与2009版的主要技术内容进行对比和解读,为生产企业、检测机构有关人员理解、使用标准提供一定的借鉴。结果表明,新标准修正了旧标准中部分不合理的设置,增加了部分适应产业产品发展的新要求;相应的调整和完善使新标准能更加科学合理地反映现今毛巾产品的特点需求,对规范我国毛巾行业发展、提升产品质量有积极作用。

As a kind of household textile,towel plays the role of washing,keeping warm,decorating,etc.Its application scene is widespread,and it is closely related to daily life.China issued a new edition of GB/T 22864-2020 Towels on April 282020,and many adjustments have been made in this revision.The main tech⁃nical differences between 2020 and 2009 editions were compared and interpreted,so as to provide certain ref⁃erence for manufacturers and testing institutions to understand and use.The results showed that the new standards revised some unreasonable setting in the old standard,and increased some new requirements to meet the development of industrial products.The corresponding adjustment and improvement made the new standards more scientifically and reasonably reflect the characteristics and needs of towel products nowaday,and played a positive role in standardizing the development of towel industry and improving product quality.
