An Exploration of the Eight New Views Concerning Nationwide Reading since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China

党的十九大以来,围绕十九大提出的新思想、新战略、新举措,我国全民阅读工作进入了新阶段。所谓新阶段,不仅在于出现了新景象,取得了新实效,更重要的是提出了一系列新观点,包括多读书使中华民族的精神世界得以更加厚重深邃;建设书香社会;基本形成覆盖城乡的全民阅读推广服务体系;在全面推进乡村振兴中开启农民阅读服务新篇章;全民阅读要从青少年抓起;要有针对性地保障特殊群体基本阅读权益;全民阅读活动已经成为各级党委政府的工作等。随着我国全民阅读持续、创新地深入开展,必将为把我国建设成为文化强国以及社会主义现代化强国做出重要贡献。

Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the nationwide reading has entered a new stage centering on the new ideas,strategies and measures adopted at the 19th National Congress of the CPC.The new stage not only means that new visions have emerged and new results have been achieved,but more importantly,a series of new ideas have been put forward including reading more makes the spiritual world of the Chinese nation more profound;building a scholarly society;a reading promotion service system covering both urban and rural areas will be basically in place;open a new chapter of reading service for farmers in the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization;nationwide reading should start from teenagers;a targeted protection of the basic reading rights and interests of special groups;nationwide reading activities have become the focus of CPC committees and governments at all levels,and etc..With the continuous and innovative development of nationwide reading,it will certainly make important contributions to the building of China into a strong cultural and modern socialist country.
