In the late Ming dynasty,the scholar Wen Zhenheng,the great-grandson of Wen Zhengming,had a profound cultural and artistic accumulation and an exceptional aesthetic taste.His work Treatise on Superfluous Things wrote the literati’s aesthetic pursuit of daily life and expressed a kind of lofty and broad-minded feelings of scholars and a series of life aesthetic thoughts,which offered an aesthetic model of daily life among the scholars of the late Ming dynasty.It had a profound impact on both culture and art.
