基于功利主义视域下探讨“体育精神”

功利主义的道德绝不是卑劣的伦理学说,以“猪的主义”来批判功利主义是极大的误解,其虽有无可辩驳的公平正义局限性,但功利主义自十九世纪以来在道德伦理学方面迸发出的活力是有目共睹的,功利主义以最大多数人的幸福感为原理,重视人的教育、习惯、情操的培养,主张不断的在实践中取得每个人的进步,从而促进集体的进步,追求人类永久利益的效用最大化。体育自古以来,无论是健身还是竞技,成为了承载人类远离野蛮状态的重要渠道,是一种人类向往健康和自由而主动参与的“善”,是根据人类理性产生的幸福生活方式的实践,体育精神正是体育文化中的重要基础。

Utilitarian morality is by no means a despicable ethical theory.It is a great misunderstanding to criticize utilitarianism as pig doctrine.Regardless of its absolute limitations of fairness and justice,the vitality of utilitarianism in moral ethics since the 19th century is obvious to the public.With the happiness of the greatest majority of people as the principle,utilitarianism attaches importance to the cultivation of people’s education,habits and qualities and advocates the ceaseless individual progress in practice to promote the collective progress and pursue the utility maximization of permanent human interests.Since ancient times,sports,for fitness or athletics have become the important channel for humans to stay away from barbarism.It is a kind of goodness that humans actively participate in to pursue health and freedom as well as a practice of happy lifestyles based on human rationality.Sports spirit is the important foundation in sports culture.
