The Effect of the Hospital’s Medical Management Department Participating in Preoperative Witness

目的:由医院医务管理部门参与患方的术前见证,探讨其对医患沟通效果及医疗纠纷发生的影响。方法:回顾性分析漳州市某三甲医院2013年至2021年经医院医务管理部门参与的术前见证病例,探讨发生医疗纠纷的成因。结果:经医院医务管理职能部门参与的术前见证病例762例次,无论是死亡病例还是康复出院的患者,均未发生医疗纠纷。开展术前见证后,全院医疗纠纷发生率稍降低,其中胸心外科医疗纠纷发生率由0.5342%降低至0.1580%,具有统计学差异。此外,四级手术未开展术前见证的病例医疗纠纷发生率为0.2086%,高于术前见证的同级别手术。结论:由医院医务管理部门参与的术前见证,能有效提高沟通效果,减少和预防医疗纠纷的发生。

Objective:To observe the role of the hospital’s medical management department participating in preoperative witness on reducing medical disputes.Methods:A retrospective analysis of preoperative witnessed cases froma certain Grade A tertiary hospital from2013 to 2021with the participation of the hospital’s medical management department to explore the causes of medical disputes.Results:There were 762 cases witnessed by the hospital’s medical management department,there was no medical dispute,whether it was a death case or a recovered patient.The incidence of medical disputes in the hospital decreased slightly by preoperative witness,especially thoracic and cardiac surgery decreased from 0.5342%to 0.1580%,with a statistical difference.The incidence of medical disputes in the cases without preoperative witness for the fourth-level operation was 0.2086%,which was higher than that of the samelevel operation witnessed before the operation.Conclusion:The preoperative witness with the participation of the hospital’s medicalmanagement department can effectively improve the communication,and reduce the occurrence of medical disputes.
