甬上宋元五家之一--任士林字号、籍贯考

One of the Five Schools in Yongshang,Song and Yuan Dynasties--A Test of Ren Shilin's Name and Birthplace

生活于宋元易代之际的浙籍儒士任士林,被清代著名学者全祖望称为“甬上宋元五家之一”。虽饱读诗书,博学能文,却命运坎坷,一生未曾登科、出仕。晚年通过好友赵孟頫及当时任浙江儒学提举郝天挺的举荐,仅得湖州安定书院山长,且未及赴任就因病去世。由于史料匮乏,学界对其关注不多,且对其姓名、字号和籍贯表述多有不确。经考证,任士林,字叔实,号松乡。凡作“任仕林”“任士村”“任士材”;字“叔寔”“叔宝”“叔刚”;号“松卿”者,皆误,并对其籍贯的不同表述进行了考证和分析。

Ren Shilin,a Confucian scholar of Zhejiang origin who lived in the Song and Yuan dynasties,was called"one of the five schools in Yongshang Song and Yuan dynasties"by Quan Zuwang,a famous scholar in the Qing Dynasty.Although full of poems and books,knowledgeable and literary,his fate was rough,and he had never entered a college or an official career in his life.In his later years,through the recommendation of his friend Zhao Mengfu and the then Zhejiang Confucianist Hao Tianting,only the head of Huzhou Anding College,and died of illness before he could take office.Due to the lack of historical data,the academic circles paid little attention to it,and there were many inaccurate expressions of its name,name and place of origin.After textual research,Ren Shilin,named Shushi,named Songxiang.Anyone who wrote"Ren Shilin","Ren Shicun","Ren Shicai";the words"shu'ao","shubao","shugang"and the name"Songqing"are all wrong,and different expressions of their native place are made.Research and analysis.
