Foreign language teaching in universities in the new era has put forward new requirements on the research ability of teachers and students.Exploratory Practice points out the direction of how to improve teachers′research ability and cultivate students′research ability.This paper makes an explanation of the connotation and essential characteristics of Exploratory Practice through several cases,and expounds how to carry out Exploratory Practice in conventional classroom teaching,integrating research intoteaching,in order to deepen the understanding of classroom life and improve its quality.
