As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,promoting the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin is a major strategy related to the overall development of the country and our realization of socialist modernization.To solve some prominent contradictions and problems in the Yellow River Basin,we should firmly establish an innovation-driven awareness that affects the overall economic and social situation and a coordinated governance mechanism.We should not only enhance the innovation in the development of the Yellow River Basin,but also pay attention to its integrity and coordination,and build a green governance mechanism,to realize the sustainability of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin,to establish an open internal and external linkage mechanism,to conform to the trend of economic globalization,and to establish a Yellow River basin governance mechanism based on the principle of joint consultation,joint construction and shared benefits,so as to promote the formation of a new pattern of high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.
