明清时期河南浚县碧霞元君信仰的载体及其功能

The Carrier and Function of Bixia Yuanjun’s Religion in Xun County, Henan in Ming and Qing Dynasties

浚县碧霞元君行宫在河南碧霞元君信仰的传播中发挥了重要作用。信众基于求子、祈福的需求,自发结成盛大香会,连年进香以示虔诚,通过捐香火、修缮行宫等行为以求灵验,形成浚县信仰风俗。

Bixia Yuanjun’s Palace in Xun county has played an important role in the spread of Bixia Yuanjun’s religion in Henan. Based on the needs of asking for children and praying for blessings, the believers spontaneously formed a grand incense fair and made pilgrimages year after year to show their piety. They also donated to the temple and repaired the palace, which has formed the belief custom of Xunxian county.
