当今世界,不同文化之间的对话与交流日趋频繁,各种思想相互交织、相互碰撞,翻译活动亦随之呈现出更为丰富的形式与内涵。在此背景下,零翻译的概念逐步进入翻译研究的视野,并在翻译实践中得到广泛运用。零翻译看似无为,实则有为,既是对可译性原则的坚守,也是对不可译现象的有效弥补,进一步拓宽了翻译的可译性限度,满足我国当下高速发展变革中的翻译实务需求。因此,从宏观层面考察零翻译在翻译活动中的定位,中观层面厘清其内涵与外延,微观层面梳理其作用的场合,从边界回溯中心,有助于我们全面把握翻译的本质特征,进一步完善翻译理论和方法体系。

With the further progress of the dialogue and communication among different cultures nowadays,different ideas begin to interweave and collide with each other.As a result,richer forms and connotations are derived from translation activities.In this situation,the concept of zero translation has gradually been taken into translation studies and widely used in translation practice.Zero translation seems to do nothing,but in fact it is promising.It is not only a adherence to the principle of translatability,but also an effective remedy for untranslatability,which further widens the limits of translatability and meets the needs of current translation practice.Therefore,it is necessary that we seize the positioning of zero translation in translation activities from the macro level,clarify its connotation and extension at the meso level,meanwhile combing its coping strategies at the micro level.Tracing back to the center from the boundary will help us fully grasp the essential characteristics of translation and further improve the translation theory and method system.
