民国期刊翻译文学的副文本及其价值

The Para-Text and Value of the Translated Literature of Periodical in the Republic of China

民国期刊围绕翻译文学存在众多副文本形式,根据其与正文的位置关系,副文本可分为外文本和内文本,前者包括发刊词、编后记、封面等,后者包括标题(副标题)、插图、译者序、编者按以及附录等。民国期刊翻译文学的副文本既引导了当时的读者阅读,影响了初期外国文学在我国的译介和传播,也是各类文化主体改写外国文学文本,由此实现自身文学和文化意图的手段,同时各类副文本为后世研究者了解当时的文学翻译和传播状况提供了丰富的史料。但期刊副文本对翻译文学本身也有一定的遮蔽作用。

There are many forms of para-text around the translated literature in periodicals in the Republic of China.According to their different positions from the main text,para-text can be divided into external text and internal text.The former includes publication words,post script,cover,etc.;The latter includes the title(subtitle),illustrations,translator’s preface,editor’s note,appendix,etc.The para-text of the periodical translation literature of the Republic of China not only guided the readers during that period,but influenced the translation and dissemination of foreign literature in our country in the early stage.All kinds of para-text provide rich historical materials for later researchers to understand the literary translation and dissemination conditions at that time.However,the para-text in periodicals also has a certain masking effect on the translated literature itself.
