This paper briefly describes the background of the construction and upgrading of the automatic control system of offshore platform,briefly introduces the advantages of EPKS system and Rockwell ControlLogix 5570 PLC,and explains the specific application of this system in the automatic control system of offshore platform.This paper points out the communication solution between the central platform PKS system and the satellite platform PLC,and expounds in detail the specific operation method of EPKS system and the programming steps of ControlLogix 5570 PLC controller.Finally,this paper introduces the current situation of the offshore platform after the system is put into use,and points out the possible application places of the system.
