Professor CHEN Xiuhua’s experience in the treatment of eczema

分析总结陈秀华教授运用针刺联合刺血疗法论治湿疹的经验。湿疹是临床常见的反复发作性皮肤疾病。西医暂无根治方法,远期疗效欠佳。作为岭南陈氏针法的代表性传承人,陈秀华教授继承前人经验,临证以“阴阳互济、通调和畅”为学术思想,治疗以“清心调脾、宣肺止痒、化湿祛瘀、解郁散结”为法,从心、脾、肺辨治湿疹,分期、分症选穴,联合腹针,取穴多元;灵活运用陈氏飞针法、陈氏分级补泻法,刺法得当;创新融入俞穴刺血,速以止痒。

This paper analyzes and summarizes Professor Chen Xiuhua's experience in treating eczema with acupuncture combined with the bloodletting therapy.Eczema is a common recurrent skin disease in clinic,for which there is currently no satisfying and effective cure in western medicine,especially in its long-term efficacy.As a representative inheritor of Lingnan Chen's acupuncture,Professor Chen Xiuhua inherits the experience of her predecessors.She puts forward the academic thought of"yin and yang benefiting each other mutually,coordinating yin and yang for a relative equilibrium between them".She adopts treatment methods for clearing heart-fire and regulating the spleen,ventilating the lungs and relieving itching,eliminating dampness and dissipating phlegm,relieving stagnation and resolving blood stasis.She advocates that eczema is treated on the basis of syndrome differentiation in the heart,spleen and lung,and the selection of acupoints should be done on the basis of disease stages and syndrome differentiation,combined with abdominal acupuncture to achieve a diversification in acupoint selection.In addition,the flexible use of Chen's flying needle method and Chen's grading tonifying and purging method makes acupuncture properly manipulated,and the innovative use of the bloodletting therapy at back-shu points can alleviate itching quickly.
