In 2021,the futures price of the global crude oil price benchmarks,Brent and WTI,rose by 50.63%and 55.72%respectively,then continued in an upward trend in 2022 to hit a new high since 2008,reaching USD 139.13/barrel and USD 130.5/barrel respectively;the Dutch TTF Natural Gas Futures price,the European natural gas price benchmark,rose by 267.85%,reaching a high in the year of 187.785 EUR/MW·h,up by 881.99%,then continued in an upward trend in 2022,reaching 345 EUR/MW·h,with a highest increase of 390.45%;even though the current price has fallen back,it remains at 100 EUR/MW·h.
