The democratization of international relations is an inevitable requirement and destination of the times and the development of international relations,and a necessary prerequisite for the establishment of a fair and reasonable new international political and economic order.The democratization of international relations contains the principles of sovereign equality,anti-hegemony,and peaceful development.The accelerated evolution of the international system,the democratic deficit of globalization,the reform and improvement of the global governance system,the construction of a new type of international relations,and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind are the basic motivations for China to promote the democratization of international relations.China has gathered consensus on the democratization of international relations on the international and multilateral stage,proposed the"Belt and Road"initiative,advocated the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind,promoted the practice of whole-process people's democracy at home,and contributed Chinese wisdom to the exploration of the path of democracy around the world.All these show China’s emphasis on democratic values,the unremitting pursuit of the democratization of international relations,and the commitment to seeking a world of great harmony.
