This paper mainly briefly describes the development history of methanol-to-ethylene and methanol-to-propylene technology at home and abroad,and in the current international environment where the international oil price is falling and the rate of increase is unstable,the use of coal-to-olefin technology to produce propylene and ethylene is very important for improving national.The significance of energy security was discussed,hoping to provide reference for the sustainable and stable supply of national energy.
