Feng Yuxiang was a famous patriotic general and democratic personage in modern history,who made important contribution to China’s democratic revolution.Through the method of literature research and qualitative analysis,this paper probes into the formation,main contents and enlightenment of Feng Yuxiang’s Military Sports Thought.The background of Feng Yuxiang’s Military Sports Thought and his personal experience are the main factors that influence Feng Yuxiang’s Unique Military Sports Training thought.Its military sports thought is mainly distributed in the five dimensions of“Military nationalism”,“Military training”,“Education and sports”,“War and training”and“Military-oriented”.Under the new situation,the systematic study of Feng Yuxiang’s military sports thoughts is of great significance to the development of Chinese military sports in the new era.
