A Practical Approach to Educational Function of Chinese Culture in College English

跨文化交际是双向的交流过程,吸纳目的语文化和传播本土文化缺一不可。然而中国文化学习在大学英语课程中长期处于被忽略的状态。从分析中国文化融入大学英语的必要性入手,阐述中国文化在大学英语课程中缺位的原因,探讨中国文化融入大学英语教学的路径。

Intercultural communication is a two-way communication process,in which the absorption of the target language culture and the dissemination of local culture are indispensable.However,the study of Chinese culture has long been neglected in university English courses.Starting with the analysis of the necessity of integrating Chinese culture into college English,this paper expounds the reasons for the absence of Chinese culture in college English courses,and probes into the ways of integrating Chinese culture into college English teaching.
