From the perspective of feminism, almost all the classic myths are written with male ideology as the leading factor. Therefore,in order to reconstruct women’s discourse power, female writers boldly reconstruct myths and endow them with distinct practical significance. The story The Penelopiad, the representative work of Canadian female writer Margaret Atwood(1939-),shows how female writers deconstruct the myth tradition of male dominated society, and subvert male dominated thoughts to reconstruct female myth in the contemporary society.Taking The Penelopiad as the research object, and on the basis of the ideas of“Anti-Odyssey”in Atwood’s works, this paper studies the narrative strategies of The Penelopiad based on Susan Sniader Lanser’s theory of narrative voice, and displays the female writers’myth reconstruction against the males’perspective.
