On the Transmutation of Lu Xun's Youth Outlook from the Perspective of Reality

鲁迅青年观大致可分为前后两个时期。前期鲁迅青年观以进化论为基础,将“青年”作为一个象征希望和理想的抽象文化符号,在表达政治文化审美理想的同时,也将“青年”意义抽象化、凝固化。后期鲁迅青年观以现实为依托,显示了其对于进化论的怀疑与超越。“青年群体”从抽象化、凝固化的理想意义中分化出形形色色的“青年个体”,鲁迅在对“青年个体”进行细致考察的过程中,对青年的情感态度也发生了从“无条件敬畏”到“不留情面”的深度转向。转向后的鲁迅对于进步青年参与社会现实斗争的情况高度关注,其青年革命观显示出人道主义和现实主义的分裂,反映出知识分子心中永存的痛苦的生命感受。

Lu Xun's outlook on youth can be roughly divided into two periods.Early Lu Xun's youth outlook was based on the theory of evolution,taking“youth”as an abstract cultural symbol that symbolized hope and ideals.While expressing political and cultural aesthetic ideals,it also abstracted and solidified the meaning of“youth”.Lu Xun's later youth outlook relies on reality to show his suspicion and transcendence to the theory of evolution.The“youth group”differentiated from the ideal meaning of abstraction and solidification into all kinds of“youth individuals”.In the process of careful inspection of the“youth individuals”,Lu Xun's emotional attitude towards young people also changed from“unconditional awe”.Turn to the depth of the“relentless face”.After turning,Lu Xun paid close attention to the youth participation in social reality struggle.His youth revolution view showed the division of humanitarianism and realism,reflecting the perpetual painful life feelings in the hearts of intellectuals.
