词块理论在大学英语词汇教学中的应用研究

词汇是语言的基本组成单位,词汇教学对英语学习极为重要。但是一直以来,词汇教学得不到重视,其重要原因之一就是词汇的教学不够严谨。目前英语词汇教学存在诸多问题。为此,文章概述词块理论的发展背景,在分析大学英语词汇教学和词汇学习现状的基础上提出运用词块理论优化英语词汇教学,解决大学生词汇习得问题,提高词汇综合应用能力。同时,教师和学生也应该充分意识到词块理论运用到词汇教学中的显著效果,教师把词块理论的知识融入大学英语课堂,对大学生词块理论的运用进行培养,教师和学生共同培养学生的词汇综合运用能力。

Vocabulary is the basic unit of language. Vocabulary teaching is very important for English learning. But for a long time, vocabulary teaching has not been paid attention to. One of the important reasons is vocabulary teaching is not rigorous enough. Moreover, now there are many problems in English vocabulary teaching. Therefore, this paper summarizes the development background of Lexical Chunk Theory. Based on the analysis of the current situation of College English vocabulary teaching and vocabulary learning, this paper proposes to use lexical chunk theory to optimize English vocabulary teaching, solve the problem of College Students’ vocabulary acquisition and improve their comprehensive vocabulary application ability. At the same time, teachers and students should also be fully aware of the significant effect of the application of Lexical Chunk Theory in vocabulary teaching. Teachers consciously guide students to use lexical chunk theory, consciously cultivate the application of students’ own Lexical Chunk Theory, and teachers and students jointly cultivate students’ comprehensive vocabulary application ability.
