This paper briefly introduces the three principles of teleology.Literary translation from the perspective of teleology should pay attention to the understanding and acceptability of target language readers,as well as retain the aesthetic feeling and literary characteristics of literary works.Starting with the text analysis of Ge Haowen’s translation of Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out;,this paper expounds some possible differences in the process of literary translation between Chinese and English,as well as the translation strategies and solutions adopted when confronted with difficult translation.
