Overview of the Seminar on "Building Modern Energy System and Promoting Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality"

受中共中央、国务院委托,在中央统战部统一协调下,2022年致公党中央拟围绕“构建现代能源体系,统筹推进碳达峰碳中和”开展重点调研。致公党中央参政议政部采用视频形式召开了研讨会,与会专家围绕推动煤炭和新能源优化组合、加快产业结构调整和转型升级、发展新型储能、构建能源互联网、完善体制机制、坚持科技创新、加强国际合作等方面提出了意见建议。

Entrusted by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and coordinated by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Central Committee of China Zhi Gong Party plans to carry out key research on "building a modern energy system and comprehensively promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality" in 2022. Experts at the meeting put forward opinions and suggestions on the following aspects: promoting the optimal mix of coal and new energy, accelerating industrial restructuring, transformation and upgrading, developing new types of energy storage, building energy Internet, improving institutions and mechanisms, adhering to scientific and technological innovation, and strengthening international cooperation.
