Roads are a necessary way for people to travel.Cities are densely populated,and various roads are needed to meet people’s travel needs.The urban roads are intertwined with each other,like the circulating blood in the human body.Urban roads are divided into speedways,arterial roads,secondary roads and branch roads.Each road has its own mission and requires different engineering quality.However,the subgrade is the most basic and important part of the road,and the quality of the subgrade during construction directly affects the quality of the pavement and the subsequent use of urban roads.Just like the construction of high-rise buildings,the foundation must be laid.Therefore,the subgrade testing and quality control is required for the construction of municipal roads.
