非洲臀果木Pygeum africanum Hook.f(Prunus africana(Hook f.)Kalkm)为蔷薇科臀果木属植物,原产并广泛分布于非洲撒哈拉以南的地区,应用历史悠久。本文检索中国知网、万方、维普、PubMed和Web of Science中英文文献数据库,筛选设计合理、结论可靠的科学研究文献,文献研究表明非洲臀果木树皮可用于治疗前列腺增生及其相关的下尿路症状、前列腺炎和女性绝经后雄激素性脱发等。本文基于非洲臀果木树皮文献研究分析,结合中医药理论探讨其中药药性。非洲臀果木树皮中药名称、基源及药性总结为,非洲臀果木皮Pruni africanae cortex为蔷薇科臀果木属植物非洲臀果木Pygeum africanum Hook.f.(Prunus africana(Hook f.)Kalkm)的干燥树皮,味甘,性温,归肾、膀胱、肝经;具有补益肝肾、固精缩尿的功效,用于肝肾不足,腰膝酸软,小便频数,尿后滴沥,阳痿遗精等,主要用于男性前列腺疾病和女性绝经后脱发等;每日用量1~3 g。非洲臀果木树皮中药药性的确定为其与现有中药配伍应用提供了理论基础,提高了非洲臀果木树皮的临床价值和应用价值,对于中医药的传承和发展具有积极意义。

Pygeum africanum Hook.f(Prunus africana(Hook f.)Kalkm)is a genus of Pygeum in the Rosaceae family,which is native to and widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa and has a long history of application.This paper searches the Chinese and English literature databases including CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,PubMed and Web of Science,and screens scientific research literatures with reasonable design and reliable conclusions.Studies in the literature suggestthat Pruni africanae cortex can be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and its associated lower urinary tract symptoms,prostatitis and androgenetic alopecia in women after menopause.Based on the research and analysis of the Pruni africanae cortex,this paper discusses its Chinese medicinal properties under the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.The Chinese medicinal name,base source and medicinal properties of Pruni africanae cortex are summarized as follows:Pruni africanae cortex is the dried bark of Pygeum africanum Hook.f.(Prunus africana(Hook f.)Kalkm)of the genus Pygeum,family Rosaceae.It is sweet in flavor warm-natured,and entersthe meridians of the kidney,bladder,and liver.It has the effect of nourishing liver and kidney,securing essence and reducing urination,indication of which include liver and kidney deficiency,soreness and weakness of waist and knees,frequent urination,dribbling urination,impotence,seminal emission,etc.It is mainly used for male prostate disease and female postmenopausal hair loss.The suggested daily dosage is 1~3g.The determination of the medicinal properties of Pruni africanae cortex provides a theoretical basis for its combination with existing traditional Chinese medicinals,improves the clinical value and application value of Pruni africanae cortex,and has positive significance for the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.
