1例美洲红鹮嗉囊肿瘤的病例报告

A case report of a Eudocimus ruber crop tumor

武汉动物园圈养美洲红鹮群中发现1例嗉囊肿瘤病例。患鸟病程1个月,消瘦、活力差、嗉囊膨大明显,衰竭死亡;对患鸟进行血液学检查和肿物内穿刺检查,提示恶性病变。剖检见嗉囊肿物包膜不完整、内有大量增生及液体渗出。病理组织学检测观察到异型增生的鳞状上皮、腺上皮浸润生长,部分间质黏液样变性,软骨细胞、梭形细胞增生,提示嗉囊鳞状上皮癌与腺癌混合发生。

A case of crop tumor was found in the captive Eudocimus ruber in Wuhan Zoo.The disease course of the bird was one month,manifested as weight loss,poor vitality,obvious swelling of the crop,and death from exhaustion.The veterinarian performed hematological examination and intra-mass puncture examination on the bird,suggesting malignant lesions.The necropsy showed that the capsule of the crop cyst was incomplete,with a large amount of hyperplasia and fluid exudation.Histopathological examination showed dysplastic squamous epithelium and glandular epithelium infiltrating growth,some mesenchymal mucoid degeneration,and proliferation of chondrocytes and spindle cells,suggesting the mixed occurrence of crop squamous epithelial carcinoma and adenocarcinoma.
