With the rapid economic development,sheep raising has become one of the important industries to promote the sustainable development of China's animal husbandry.Sheep coccidiosis is a common parasitic disease in sheep farming.The disease not only affects the healthy growth of sheep,but also hinders the normal development of sheep farming.In order to effectively prevent and control sheep coccidiosis and avoid possible losses to the sheep farming industry,breeders must understand the etiology and characteristics of sheep coccidiosis,and strive to explore prevention and control measures,minimize the incidence of sheep coccidiosis,improve the management level,ensure the health of the flock,and maximize the economic benefits.The article briefly described the epidemiology,clinical symptoms and pathological changes of sheep coccidiosis,reviewed the relevant investigations and researches in recent years,and proposed control measures,in order to provide reference for clinical prevention and research of sheep coccidiosis.
