Veterinary medicine is not only an essential material for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases,but also an important material to promote the development of animal husbandry industry.The correct use of veterinary medicine is directly related to the quality and safety of animal husbandry products and people’s health.This paper expounds the current situation of veterinary drug residues and the problems existing in the supervision of veterinary drug residues,and puts forward some suggestions to improve the level of food safety supervision,so as to promote the supervision of veterinary drug residues in livestock products.
