文学文体学视角下《摩登家庭》中的幽默言语翻译研究

A Study on the Translation of Verbal Humor in Modern Family from the Perspective of Literary Stylistics

美式情景喜剧中幽默言语十分常见,同时幽默言语的翻译直接影响了中国观众的观影效果。从文学文体学的角度对《摩登家庭》中的幽默言语翻译进行研究,分析了情景喜剧幽默言语产生的机制,同时从语言翻译、修辞翻译两个方面研究了幽默言语的翻译,给出了情景喜剧幽默言语翻译的难点。为了更好地对幽默言语进行翻译,必须从中国观众的实际出发,适当注释,消除中西方文化的隔阂,才能取得最佳的观影效果。

Verbal humor is ubiquitous in American sitcoms.Meanwhile,the translation of verbal humor exerts a direct influence on the appreciation of American sitcoms for Chinese audiences.This paper probes into the translation of verbal humor in the American sitcom Modern Family from the perspective of literary stylistics,the mechanism of the creation of verbal humor,the translation of verbal humor in its language and rhetoric,and the difficulty in the translation of verbal humor.In order to better translate verbal humor,we must start from the reality of the Chinese audience,properly annotate and eliminate the gap between Chinese and Western culture,so as to achieve the best viewing effect.
