Pre-pack administration is widely used as a form of insolvency procedure around the world and the United Kingdom, one of the countries where it originated, has contributed much to the development of this system.When used properly, pre-pack administration is a very effective insolvency procedure that saves time and protects the interests of creditors. This article provides a brief analysis of the application of the pre-pack administration system in the UK, summarising its strengths and weaknesses, and analysing the problems that have arisen over the years and the improvements that have been made to the pre-pack system in response to these problems.
