An Analysis of the Subtitle Translation of“Hello,Li Huanying”from the Perspective of Functional Translation Theory

以热播电影《你好,李焕英》为研究对象,从功能翻译理论视角探析字幕翻译所使用的方法,即概念转换法、逻辑推理法、灵活变通意译法、复制文本直译法四种翻译方法,阐释该部电影字幕翻译的成功之处,这对推广功能翻译理论运用于电影字幕翻译以及促进中外跨文化交流有着重要的现实意义。

Taking the hit movie“Hello,Li Huanying”as the research object,this paper analyzes the four methods used in subtitle translation from the perspective of functional translation theory,namely concept conversion method,logical reasoning method,flexible free translation method and copy text literal translation method.It has important practical significance for promoting the application of functional translation theory to film subtitle translation and promoting cross-cultural communication between China and foreign countries.
