图书馆读写困难儿童空间设计与服务——以IFLA最佳实践为例

Library Space Planning and Services for Children with Dyslexia:Taking IFLA Best Practices for Example

国外图书馆面向读写困难儿童阅读的空间设计与服务的内容和经验,能够为我国建设包容开放的读写困难儿童图书馆服务空间提供参考借鉴。文章使用网络调研法和案例分析法,选取《IFLA读写困难人士的图书馆服务指南——修订与扩展》最佳图书馆实践中面向读写困难儿童的空间设计与服务为案例分析对象,对其实践内容和特点展开分析。研究发现:我国公共图书馆读写困难儿童服务实践已经在逐步推进,空间设计与服务将成为其中重要的一环,需要得到更多的关注和专门设计。据此提出建议:创新读写困难儿童空间建设模式和路径,根据实际需求开辟灵活多用途的阅读空间,增强服务空间的情景体验和视觉标识设计,强化特殊儿童服务馆员的专业服务能力,丰富读写困难儿童服务的内容与途径。

Spatial design and services for children with dyslexia in foreign libraries can serve as references for developing inclusive and open library service spaces for those children in China.By means of network survey and case analysis,a study is performed on the best library spatial design and services for children with dyslexia from IFLA Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia-Revised and Extended,analyzing their content and characteristics.The study suggests that public libraries in China is moving forward the gradual services for children with dyslexia,which space planning and services play an essential part in,and thus requiring more attention and special design.Accordingly,this paper recommends to innovate library spaces for children with dyslexia,create flexible and versatile reading spaces on basis of actual needs,improve scenario-based experience and visual sign design of service areas,enhance the capability of librarians serving special children,and enrich library services for children with dyslexia.
