Dimethyl carbonate is an important organic synthesis intermediate with excellent environmental performance.The molecule contains carbonyl,methyl,aldehyde and other functional groups.It is an excellent methylation,methylation and carbonylation reagent.This paper reviews several preparation and separation methods of dimethyl carbonate in recent years,and expounds the specific application of dimethyl carbonate.
