新时期老年口腔医学教学改革的思考与设想

Thoughts and ideas on the teaching reform of geriatric dentistry in the new era

我国人口老龄化趋势日益加重,国家倡导积极应对人口老龄化、健康老龄化。口腔健康是全身健康的重要组成部分,老年人群口腔健康状况不容乐观,老年口腔医学日益受到国内外的重视。为了更好的顺应时代发展,老年口腔医学人才培养非常重要,老年口腔医学教学改革势在必行。本文将回顾老年口腔医学发展历史,对老年口腔医学教学现状进行总结与思考,对新时期老年口腔医学教学改革的措施进行分析,目的是贯彻落实重要纲要文件的部署,更好的完成老年口腔医学教学的基本任务,为完善口腔卫生服务体系奠定基础,提升老年人群口腔健康水平,助力健康老龄化。

Our country is facing a demographic shift in the age profile of the population,the government calls for actions on population aging and healthy aging.Oral health is an indispensable component of overall health in humans.The current evidence indicates that oral health status of the elderly is not optimistic.Reform of geriatric dentistry teaching is necessery to be developed in response to the changing oral health needs of growing numbers of older adults.The purpose of this study is to review the development history of geriatric dentistry,identify the present scenario of geriatric dentistry education,and provide some reform measures to better educate dental students so that they are competent and confident in managing the treatment needs of elderly patients,laying a foundation for improvement of the elderly oral health and promotion of the healthy aging.
