On the Way to"Normalization":A Review of Performances in Russian Theatres in the Year 2020 and 2021

2020、2021年,俄罗斯当代剧场于“常态化”的行进途中,有内在张力的重大变化。在经典剧目排演、传统老将“拼杀”、国际多元融合、戏剧大奖角逐、顶尖剧院“换帅”等戏剧演出大事件中,大师级的新剧目轮番上演。这两年的俄罗斯剧坛用“神仙打架”来形容绝不为过,戏剧强国里常有的龙争虎斗亦是其剧场艺术“常态化”的生动呈现。2020、2021年的俄罗斯剧场艺术亦有这样的整体倾向,戏剧艺术家们愈发重视对“人”的表达和对“人性”的深刻诠释。

In 2020 and 2021,the Russian contemporary theatre is on its way to"normalization",but there are also significant changes in its inherent tension.In the midst of theatrical events such as the rehearsal of classical pieces,the"fight"of traditional veterans,international multiculture fusion,competition for theater awards,and the"management changes"in top theaters,new master-level plays are being staged in turn.All this can be described without exaggeration as the"battles of gods".The constant fierce battles often seen in major theatrical powers are a vivid presentation of the"normalization"of Theatre Arts,which is also a tendency in that of Russian theatres in 2020 and 2021,wherein dramatist are paying more and more attention to the expression of"people"and the deep meaning of"human nature".
