Test Study on Large-sized Gravel Piles to Improve Soft Soil Foundations

碎石桩是快速提高地基稳定性的有效手段 ,大粒径碎石桩将碎石桩的适用范围扩大到了 8～ 15 k Pa的软土。西江下游航道整治工程采用大粒径碎石桩以提高河堤稳定性 ,并通过现场大型综合试验对大粒径碎石桩的加固机理、力学参数。

Gravel pile is an efficient method to improve the stability of foundations. Large sized gravel piles extend the application of gravel pile to soft soil from 8 kPa to 15 kPa. It is used to improve the levees stability in controlling the navigations along the lower reaches of West River. By the large comprehensive test in situation, the mechanism of consolidation, the mechanics of consolidation, the mechanics parameter and test methods of large sized gravel pile are discussed.
