20世纪前海外中国农业科技典籍译介研究

Overseas Practical Applications of the Translation and Introduction of Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Classics Before the 20^(th) Century

现有的典籍译介研究主要局限于文化交流与文化走出去,忽略了译介的实用价值。研究发现,20世纪之前,尤其是18—19世纪,处于从传统农业向现代工业转型的日本、法国等亚欧国家急需农业提供全面支持,可是却面临蚕桑养殖和缫丝工艺等方面的科技落后不能提供有力支持的困难。为此,这些国家选择性地主动译介了中国农业科技典籍。这些译介在提高本国农业生产效益的同时也推动了中国农业科技典籍走进去。因此,本文认为,应拓宽中国科技类典籍的译介研究视野,重视对接受国产生的经世致用研究,从而更好地推动中国科技典籍走出去。

The existing studies on translation and introduction of classics are mainly limited to cultural exchanges and cultural outreaches and ignore the researches of the practical values of the translation and introduction.This study has found that before the 20^(th) century,especially in the 18^(th) and 19^(th) century,Japan,France and other Asian and European countries that were in the transition from traditional agriculture to modern industry urgently needed comprehensive support from agriculture,but they faced technological backwardness in sericulture and silk reeling technology,which resulted in the inabilities of providing strong support for industry.For this reason,these countries selectively translated and introduced Chinese agricultural science and technology classics,which not only improved the efficiency of domestic agricultural production,but also the entry of Chinese agricultural science and technology classics in those countries.Therefore,this paper proposes that it is necessary to broaden the research horizon of Chinese science and technology classics,paying more attention to the researches on the practical application of the recipient countries so as to better promote the introduction of Chinese science and technology classics to the world.
