Fault Analysis of Encoder of ACS800 Frequency Converter for WK Series Mining Excavator

WK系列矿用挖掘机使用的ACS800变频器采用直接转矩控制(简称DTC),是先进的电动机控制方式,保证了恶劣工况件下的稳定运行。但参与电机速度反馈控制的脉冲编码器故障频发且排查处理较为困难。通过现场维护的实际经验,对典型的脉冲编码器故障进行分析,同时提出相应的预防措施。

The direct torque control(DTC for short)is used for ACS800 frequency converter for WK series mining excavators,which is an advanced motor control method and ensures stable operation under the harsh working condition.However,the faults of the pulse encoder involved in the motor speed feedback control are frequent and the troubleshooting is difficult.Through the practical experience of on-site maintenance,the typical faults of pulse encoders are carried out the analysis and corresponding preventive measures are proposed at the same time.
