断鼻家族象群迁徙:我国生物多样性保护事业的新起点

Elephant migration:new benchmark to China's biodiversity conservation

2020年3月以来,云南西双版纳国家级自然保护区一群野象走出保护区,历时一年半,引起了国内外全社会高度关注。这次事件标志着我国生物多样性保护取得了重大进展,从抢救性保护步入基于社会生态系统整体性保护的新起点。需要创新性思维,顺应全球生物多样性保护变革型治理逻辑,在一个原住民大国,有着悠久灿烂文明的古国,人地关系高度紧张的国家,创建新的人象共生模式,适度控制人类发展行为和生活习惯,适度管理大象的种群规模,创立出具有中国特色社会主义的生物多样性保护的理论逻辑,将习近平生态文明思想转化为生物多样性保护的中国理论、中国方案、中国实践。

Since March 2020,a group of wild elephants in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve in Yunnan Province have been out of the reserve for one and a half years,which has attracted great attention of the whole society at home and abroad.This event marks a significant progress in China's biodiversity conservation from rescue protection to overall protection of social ecosystem.We need comply with the transformative governance logic of global biodiversity conservation in an innovative way,in a country with a large indigenous population,a long and splendid civilization and a high tension between man and land,a new model of human-elephant symbiosis shoud be created by appropriately controlling human development and lifestyles,and the population scale of elephants in order to establish the theoretical logic of biodiversity conservation with China's characteristics,and transform Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought into China's theory,China's plan and China's practice of biodiversity conservation.
