间充质干细胞在肿瘤治疗应用的研究进展

Research progress on mesenchymal stem cells in tumor treatment

间充质干细胞(MSCs)作为一种多能干细胞,具有广泛的生物学功能。在颅内肿瘤的治疗中,血脑屏障(BBB)的存在阻碍了药物向脑内肿瘤的扩散,药物难于达到有效的治疗。而MSCs可绕过BBB,因此在颅内肿瘤的治疗中,其可以作为药物载体应用于肿瘤治疗。同时,经过基因修饰的MSCs,可以迁移到肿瘤局部,起到治疗肿瘤的作用,显著降低对正常细胞的毒副作用。基于已有的研究表明,MSCs在肿瘤治疗的应用中具有广阔的前景。本文综述了关于MSCs与肿瘤细胞的相互作用、MSCs对肿瘤微环境的影响、MSCs作为药物载体在肿瘤治疗上的应用以及基因修饰的MSCs在肿瘤治疗上的应用、MSCs分泌的细胞外囊泡(EVs)在肿瘤治疗上的应用等方面的研究进展。

As a kind of pluripotent stem cells,mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have a wide range of biological functions.In the treatment of intracerebral tumors,the existence of blood brain barrier(BBB)hinders the diffusion of drugs to intracranial tumors,and drugs are difficult to achieve effective treatment.MSCs can bypass the BBB,so they can be used as drug carriers in the treatment of intracranial tumors.The genetically modified MSCs can migrate to the local tumor and play a therapeutic role,significantly reducing the toxic side effects on normal cells.Based on the existing studies,MSCs have a broad prospect in the application of tumor treatment.This paper reviews the interaction between MSCs and tumor cells,the effect of MSCs on the tumor microenvironment,the application of MSCs as drug carrier in tumor treatment,the genetically modified MSCs in tumor treatment,and the extracellular vesicles(EVs)secreted by MSCs in tumor treatment and other aspects of research progress.
