Objective To analyze the effect of coordination of the surgical team on indexes related to operation in patients undergoing laparoscopic ovarian tumor removal. Methods Sixty-five patients undergoing laparoscopic ovarian tumorectomy were selected at Shaanxi Nuclear Industry 215 Hospital from December 2020 to December 2021. They were divided into an observation group(33 patients) and a control group(32 patients) based on the odd and even admission sequence. The observation group received comprehensive operating room nursing besides conventional nursing and the control group received routine operating room care. Surgical indicators and the overall incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of operation, time to recovery of spontaneous breathing, time to eye opening, time to recovery of command and time to extubation were shorter in the observation group than in the control group, and the overall incidence of adverse events was 3.0% in the observation group which was lower than 25.0% of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive operating room nursing during laparoscopic ovarian tumor removal can effectively shorten the duration of operation, speed up the recovery of consciousness and breathing, reduce the incidence of adverse events such as hypothermia, and improve the safety of operating room nursing, which is worthy of promotion.
