物流标准化是否促进了企业分工?

Can Logistics Standardization Promote Vertical Specialization?

物流标准化试点制度是政府针对流通领域出台的标准引领,属于流通领域的软件建设。本文以2009—2018年中国A股上市公司为研究样本,利用物流标准化试点建设这一准自然实验,实证检验了物流标准化对企业分工的影响。研究发现,物流标准化建设显著促进了企业分工水平的提升。机制检验发现,物流标准化对企业专业化分工的推动作用主要通过扩大企业对于供应商和客户的选择范围,降低企业所面临的外部交易成本而实现。进一步分析发现,在物流成本较高的行业、交通基础设施建设水平和市场化程度较高的地区、内部组织成本较高的企业中,物流标准化对企业分工水平的提升效果更加显著。本文结果表明,政府针对流通体系的软件建设能够有效降低外部交易成本,推动分工深化,对中国构建新发展格局具有重大的现实意义。

The pilot system of logistics standardization is the standard guidance issued by the government in the field of circulation and belongs to the software construction in the field of circulation.Based on a sample of Chinese A-share listed firms from 2009 to 2018,this paper examines the impact of logistics standardization on vertical specialization using the quasi-natural experiment of pilot construction of logistics standardization.We find that the logistics cost reduction brought by logistics standardization construction significantly promotes the vertical specialization.We also find that the above results are more significant when logistics costs are higher, industry competition is higher, internal organization costs are higher, and logistics is more relevant.The results show that the government’s software construction for circulation system can effectively reduce market transaction costs and promote the deepening of vertical specialization, which has great practical significance for China’s construction of a new development pattern.
