论吴鼒《八家四六文钞》的骈文思想

On the Parallel Prose Theory of Collection by Eight Essayists is Compiled by Wu Zi

乾隆时期针对骈文创作流弊,许多文论家起而矫之。其中吴鼒编选《八家四六文钞》,倡“性灵”说,尤值关注。吴鼒性灵说的内涵有三方面:语言上“不矜奇、不恃博”;用途上不提倡以骈文论学;内容上“不害性情”。同时示以典范之作,矫正熟俗和蹇涩两种截然相反的不良倾向。吴鼒《八家四六文钞》在清代骈文理论史上有重要意义:从目的上来说推尊了骈文地位;从内容上来说丰富了骈文理论。

Collection of the Parallel Prose by Eight Essayists of Qing Dynasty compiled by WU Zi,advocated Xing-ling Theory during the ruling period of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty,and merited attention.Xing-ling Theory of WU Zi was divided into three aspects:in the aspect of language,didn’t boast of strangeness,didn’t boast of broad and profound.In terms of use,didn’t advocated discussing learning;in respect of the content,didn’t hinder Xing-ling.Meanwhile,it was demonstrated by classic works and corrected two bad tendencies:familiar customs and astringent.Collection of the Parallel Prose compiled by Wu Zi is very important in history of the theory of parallel prose in Qing Dynasty.On the one hand,it enhanced grade position of Parallel Prose;on the other hand,it also enriched the theory of Parallel Prose.
