Folk Song Librettos Collected by Research Institute of History and Language of“Academia Sinica”

在刘半农及其助手李家瑞、常惠等人的推动下,原国民政府中央研究院历史语言研究所收集保存了大量的晚清、民国民歌唱本。这些民歌唱本时间链条完整,覆盖范围遍及各地,牌调多样,内容丰富,较为全面地反映了近现代中国民歌发生发展的实际面貌,具有文献、学术等多重价值,成为民歌学、文学、音乐学、社会学、民俗学等研究的重要资料。

With the promotion and efforts of Liu Bannong and his assistants-Li Jiarui and Chang Hui,a large number of folk song librettos during the late Qing and the period of Republic of China were collected and preserved by Research Institute of History and Language of Academia Sinica.These folk song librettos,with various tones and rich content,have a complete time chain and cover all parts of China,which comprehensively reflect the actual situation of the development of modern Chinese folk songs.In addition,they have literature and academic values,and can be important materials for the research of folk songs,literature,musicology,sociology and folklore.
