Regional High-quality Integration and Export Technology Content Improvement

本文在理论分析区域高质量一体化影响出口技术含量的基础之上,选取长三角地区作为经验分析对象,基于空间计量模型进行实证检验。结果表明:(1)在长三角地区,融入区域一体化程度越高的城市不仅对提升其出口技术含量有显著促进作用,而且对其他临近城市出口技术含量的提升也有显著促进作用,表现出积极的空间外溢效应。此结论在采取各种稳健性检验以及处理了可能的内生性问题后,依然成立。(2)区域高质量一体化发展主要通过技术进步效应、竞争强化效应等作用机制对出口技术含量的提升产生显著影响。(3)区域高质量一体化对出口技术含量提升的促进作用还受到诸如地区生产总值以及居民人均可支配收入等因素的调节,前者在直接效应和空间外溢效应中均发挥了显著的负向调节作用,而后者则对直接效应有负向调节作用,对空间外溢效应有正向调节作用。(4)区域高质量一体化对出口技术含量提升的促进作用,在中小城市中更为显著。本文从区域高质量一体化视角,为理解依托本土市场培育竞争新优势等问题提供了新的经验证据,对于加快建成国内统一大市场进而重塑参与国际合作与竞争新优势具有政策含义。

Based on the theoretical analysis of the impact of regional high-quality integration on the export technology content,this paper selects the Yangtze River Delta region as the object of empirical analysis.The empirical test results based on the spatial econometric model are shown as follows.Firstly,in the Yangtze River Delta region,cities with a higher degree of integration significantly promote not only their export technology content,but also the export technology content of neighboring cities,showing a positive spatial spillover effect.The above conclusion is still valid after taking various robustness tests and dealing with possible endogeneity problems.Secondly,the development of regional high-quality integration has a significant impact on the improvement of export technology content mainly through specific mechanisms such as the technological progress effect and the competitive reinforcement effect.Thirdly,the promotion of regional high-quality integration on the improvement of export technology content is also regulated by factors such as regional GDP and per capita disposable income of residents,and the former plays a significant negative regulatory role in both the direct effect and the spatial spillover effect,while the latter has a negative regulatory effect on the direct effect and the positive regulatory effect on the space spillover effect.Moreover,the promotion of regional high-quality integration on the improvement of export technology content is more significant in small and medium-sized cities.From the perspective of regional high-quality integration,this paper provides new empirical evidence for understanding the cultivation of new competitive advantages by relying on the local market,and has policy implications for accelerating the construction of a unified domestic market and reshaping new advantages in participating in international cooperation and competition.
