专门用途英语(ESP)在应用型高校的课程构建研究与实践

文章以应用型高校的大学英语课程中构建专门用途英语(ESP)教学实践为例,通过对学生专门用途英语的需求现状分析,指出专门用途英语在应用型高校大学英语教学改革中的必要性,并提出改革建议。本研究以所在院校大二下半学期的拓展英语三个方向的教学具体实践为研究基础,通过调整课程设置、教材、教学方法和培养“双师型”教师,来构建学校的大学英语ESP课程体系,从而帮助学生提升ESP学习综合能力,为将来的深造和就业奠定基础。

Taking the practice of constructing ESP(English for specific purposes)teaching in college English courses in application-oriented colleges as an example,through the analysis of the current situation of students'demand for ESP,this paper points out the necessity of ESP in college English teaching reform in application—oriented colleges,and puts forward reform suggestions.This study is based on the specific practice of expanding English teaching in three directions in the second semester of the sophomore year.By adjusting the curriculum,teaching materials,teaching methods and cultivating"double qualified"teachers,this study constructs college English ESP curriculum system,so as to help students improve their comprehensive ESP learning ability and lay the foundation for their further study and employment in the future.
