Subway is an important urban rail transit,and the standardized translation and writing of subway public signs is a solid guarantee for passengers from other countries to know clearly where and how they want to go by subway.By analyzing English translation and writing rules of Beijing subway public signs,this paper points out the problems existing in the writing and translation of Beijing subway public signs,analyzes them and puts forward some feasible suggestions.
